Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG) is an essential molecule in the Krebs cycle — the fundamental process that generates cellular energy (ATP). In ALS, the mitochondria of motor neurons fail to produce enough energy, causing those neurons to die.
By supplementing AKG at the protocol's proprietary levels, cellular energy is restored directly to the neurons that control movement, speech, and breathing. Arginine is added to balance acidity and improve absorption.
